WELCOME HOME - THE STORM IS OVER

Brief Description: This painting was done to honor the men and women who took
part in Desert Storm. Eight thousand posters were printed and given to the
service men and women who went from Arizona to Desert Storm. Artist received
a nomination by President Bush as one of his "1000 Points of Light"
from former Arizona governor Symington and Senator John McCain. Senator John
McCain and Dr. Ray Martens unveiled the "Welcome Home - The Storm is
Over" painting on May 18, 1991 (Phoenix, Arizona) at a pre-Welcome Home
Parade event honoring Desert Storm veterans.
SKY HARBOR AIRPORT 50th ANNIVERSARY
Brief description: The painting was commissioned by the City of Phoenix for
the 50th Anniversary celebration of the founding of Sky Harbor Airport in
1985. The original painting now hangs outside the executive offices in Terminal
Three at Sky Harbor Airport.
